Over the last few weeks it has been a lottery if in fact the road was going to be open going to or coming from the Airport, it has been a nightmare.
But what is very strange is how quickly you forget what a traffic jam was in the UK, spending a lifetime on the M25 was never my idea of fun. So when we have to spend maybe an extra 5 minutes getting to the airport it somehow becomes a disaster.
Its ok for me to make light of this but the other day when I was heading to the airport and the road was closed, there was a sign that said 'Airport straight on' and that was the last sign I saw. For me it was no real drama, but for people on holiday it can become extremely stressful.
I travelled up the new road today from the airport and if you have read the driving instructions that I put on here some time ago well the first part is still good. Get onto the new 'Circunvalacion' and you now have signs so big that you cannot go wrong. If you are still not convinced then make sure you follow the Orzola sign.
I have no doubt that when its completed which should be soon, things will move along in a stress free manner, but until that day arrives be warned.
Once all the bugs have been ironed out I will do a new directions sheet but its getting better daily.
