Smoking at Reiner's Pub has obviously struck a cord with many visitors to my web site, in fact far too many comments to publish. I think the subject should be closed now before it gets out of hand. I thank you all for your response to my blogs but now its time to move on to other things that affect us just as much as this one. I welcome and appreciate your comments, thank you. Wendy
The Christmas Quiz that was to have taken place on the 22nd December has been cancelled But because Jackie and I have already brought mince pies and other goodies back from the UK during recent visits for the quiz night it was decided yesterday that we would have an informal get together on Saturday 15th December to eat all the goodies and have a bit of fun.
I’m just back from the UK having visited my family and friends, had a great time, but oh boy was it cold! I bought a pair of cheap Ugg lookalikes while I was there and yesterday I had to have them surgically removed, I even managed to shower and not get them wet!! I also have a fur lined coat which is totally inappropriate and over the top for Charco del Palo, buy hell, who cares. I like to rug up on a cold winters night even here in Lanzarote.

But……….its now 9.15am (Friday 19th Oct) and the sun is shining, everything looks clean and the plants appear to be smiling they are so happy with the drenching they’ve had. Lets hope today is a better day.

We do have a sort of committee who oversee any improvements to the village and surrounding areas and it is these committee members who will be there to answer any questions. I think it will be very informal, there’s to be a barbeque and a few drinks to mellow those who do turn up. I for one will go along and have my say, I feel very strongly about the people who let their dogs sh-t outside my house and do not pick it up, I think there sh
