Waves Crashing over the Lagoon Wall

The photograph you see to the side of this blog is exactly how the Duck Pond looked this morning.  My god its been a really windy few days.  Someone asked me last night how much longer is this wind going to last and I spoke quite optimistically and said that it should be gone by the end of July!!  much to the horror of the person.  Unfortunately this is partly true because July is always renowned to be a very windy month here in Charco del Palo.  If you travel further south then its now so bad.    I hope like a lot of people that it will blow its self out and the rest of June will be ok.  One can only hope.  Tell you what though, I’m having some really bad hair days!!!   x

Windy fecking windy

Hi Wendy, just to say how nice it was to meet you and thank you and Alan for making us feel so welcome. We were there on the Monday but Caroline hates goodbyes and the wind was so bad that we headed to Carmen early. It was a pleasure being in Peter's Pub and you made it so pleasant to be au-natural, I think you should be on a great bonus. We would love to go back to Charco Del Palo sometime in the not too distant future so in the meantime enjoy your time with your Daughter and extended family. Windy!

Hey I was so disappointed that you didn't pop into Peter's Pub on Monday, I was looking out for you guys. It was good to meet you both and perhaps next time you'll stay in Charco del Palo, contact me and I can sort out some accommodation for you then you won't have to keep going backwards and forwards to Puerto del Carmen. Keep in touch Wendy xx
