Q. Where is the nearest ATM machine? A. Nearest is in Arrieta, drive to roundabout and turn right towards the sea, its at bottom of road on the left just before the supermarket.
Q. What time does the Supermarket open in Charco del Palo A. Opens Monday to Saturday 08.00-1800 Sunday 08.00-16hrs (This can change during June/July/August)
Q. Do the restaurants in Charco del Palo close on certain days? A. Tropical Garden open every day from 13hrs - closed Friday. A. Cueva Paloma open every day from midday - closed on Wednesday
Q. Where can we get our boarding passes printed? A. Talk to Wendy or Alan and we can do this for you.
Q. Can I get a Bus from the Airport to CDP? A. Yes, but its not practical as it could take you all day. Also the bus will drop you in Mala over 2kms away from CDP.
Q. Where and when are the most popular markets? A. Haria Craft Market, Saturday morning 09.00-14.00 Villa de Teguise Sunday Market 09.00- 15.00
Q. Can I get the Bus to the Sunday Market in Villa deTeguise? A. Yes. From Mala take the 09 bus 08.55 or 07 bus at 09.15 to travel back 07 Bus 12.15 or 14.15 Times may vary.
Q. Do all the bars and restaurants take credit cards? A. Jardin Tropical, Cueva Paloma, Arepera and La Cantina de Mala all take debit/credit cards.
Q. Where can I buy Electrical Travel adaptors etc? A. There are a number of outlets but one we would recommend would be Electron which is close to Ikea and Lidl situated in Arrecife near the port area. Ask Wendy or Alan for directions.
Q. Where can I be naked in CDP and surrounding area? A. Within the village you can be naked anywhere, you are asked to cover up when using the supermarket and in the restaurants in the evening. You can walk towards Arrieta but do take something to cover up if you want to stop at the beach bar. Towards Los Cocoteros you can walk along the costal path until you reach the large house situated on the sea shore. Please do not walk along the road to Mala without clothes, as soon as you leave the village sign you should be dressed. In the Cueva Paloma you can be naked in the winter garden and the courtyard up till 17hrs, the Jardin Tropical welcomes naturist to their bar at all times, especially when they have a naturist dinner or barbecue.
Q. Are there walks on the island that can be done naked? A. No not really, although some people have done walks naked. I do not organise naked walks.
Q. Is there a Post Box and a Telephone Box in CDP? A. Post Box just inside the door of the Commercial Centro. We no longer have a telephone box in Charco del Palo.

Q: Is there a wifi hot spot in Charco del Palo? A: No. The restaurants have wifi, so just ask for the code.
Q: Is there English TV in all the accommodation? A. No in fact its very difficult to get English TV, the internet speed within the village is extremely low so streaming can be difficult. One thing that works very well here is Netflix, they offer a months free trial, so sign up and watch some great series or movies if your internet allows. For general heath concerns you can get treatment at the Salud (Medical Centre) in Mala but if you want to use this facility you must have someone that can translate for you. You need to take your EHIC and passport with you. In the event of an accident and you need medical attention if you are from the UK and have your EHIC card you can get emergency treatment at the hospital in Arrecife. Be advised this is for emergency use only and after initial treatment you will be asked to get your follow up treatment at home. If you have private medical insurance and in need of health care there are a number of Doctors in Costa Teguise that can help you and if you need hospital care then the private hospital is called Hospiten and is situated next to the Golf Course in Puerto del Carmen. But if its an Emergency then call 112 all the operators speak English.
