It was a busy day for those who had a table at the Charco del Palo Christmas Market but it was well worth all the effort. Loads of people turned up Sunday morning to help move tables and chairs into Centro for the event. When the market opened at 2pm there was a flurry of people waiting to look at what was for sale. Linda had made some lovely wall decorations made from toilet roll holders and empty kitchen rolls, they were so pretty and unless you were told of their origin you would not have guessed, very professional looking and suitable for any time of the year. Linda's table had an eclectic mix of items, including candle holders, long beaded necklaces, wall decorations made from driftwood and stones, see photos below.
Mike and Deneen's table was packed with festive decorations, jars of honey, hand made sweets, and all sorts of bags.
I shared my table with Miriam who had made some beautiful christmas cards, and hedgehogs and christmas trees from paper back books. I had a selection of jewellery, keyrings, bag charms and of course my Chilli Jelly.
We had food and drinks and later on music and dancing. We had a waffle maker, coffee tea and home made cakes, Ian's chocolate cake was a great success and we also had a table full of hand made biscuits to buy or just share with your friends on the day. See below more random photos
Well done everyone who gave up their time to help make this Christmas market a great success.
